The Iconic Canadian-born Comedian could be seen wearing an RCMP uniform while urging Canadian Citizens to not re-elect Harper. 

The last time Myers was briefly in the American political lime-light he appeared on TV for a Hurricane Katrina charity benefit with the controversial Kanye West who exclaimed that former President George W. Bush didn't "care about black people".

Donald Sutherland

Recipient of the Governor General's Award and holder of the Order of Canada; This legendary Canadian actor was disgruntled that he couldn't vote in the election due to his residency in America and complained:

"Americans who live abroad can vote"

Wayne Gretzky

One of the most symbolic Canadian Figures has been in support of Steven Harper since the beginning of his campaign.

However this hometown hero was also not able to vote in the election due to his non-residency 

When asked to comment about Gretzky's situation, Prime Minister Harper simply brushed it off in typical political rhetoric by stating "I've never heard Mr. Gretzky challenge that particular notion"

Although Gretzky didn't retract his endorsement of Harper's Conservative Party, his fans certainly did not overwhelmingly agree with their hockey hero's political opinions with many taking to social media to publicly denounce Gretzky

This American actress and comedienne sparked some controversy on the issue when she openly endorsed The New Democratic Party's leader Thomas Mulcair after a speech about the Conservatives prohibiting Muslim women from covering their face during the official Canadian citizenship ceremonies
